MicroVest Capital Management, LLC (“MicroVest,” “Us,” or “We”) respects the privacy of every individual who visits www.MicroVestFund.com (our “Website”).  The following Privacy Policy outlines the information MicroVest may collect and how we may use that information when you visit our Website.

Information Collected About You

A.         Information Collected by MicroVest or on MicroVest’s Behalf

1.   In General

Personally Identifiable Information (“Personal Information”) is information that can be used to identify or contact you.  When you visit our Website, we collect only the Personal Information you intentionally provide to us, if any.

We may also collect non-personal information from you and about your use of our Website, and Websites of selected sponsors and advertisers.  For example, we may use "cookies" or "web beacons" to collect non-personal information about your use of our Website, selected sponsors' sites, or emails we send to you.  MicroVest does not store any Personal Information in any cookies on your computer.  We do not use web beacons to collect any Personal Information from or about you or to track your activities across Websites generally.  

2.   No Registration Required

You may use our Website without registering or submitting any Personal Information.  The only information we collect will be non-personal information collected through the use of cookies or web beacons (see details below).  

3.   Cookies

MicroVest collects anonymous, non-personal information about your use of our Website.  For example, we collect non-personal information about your use of our Website and your use of the sites of selected sponsors and advertisers through the use of Cookies. Cookies are small computer files that are transferred to your computer's hard drive and result in information regarding how often someone visits a site and the activities they conduct while on that site.  Every computer is assigned a different cookie by us.  The information collected by cookies helps us, if we desire to, dynamically generate advertising and content and allows us to statistically monitor how many people are using our Website and selected sponsors' and advertisers' sites, and for what purposes.  We may use cookie information to target certain advertisements to your browser or to determine the popularity of certain content or advertisements.

B.         Children

MicroVestFund.com is not a website for children.  MicroVest adheres to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 and the guidelines of the Children's Advertising Review Unit of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc. in each of our Websites.  Parents can help by spending time online with children and monitoring children's online use. Please help us protect children’s privacy by instructing them never to provide personal information on this site or any other without your permission.

MicroVest does not collect and keep any personal information from persons who MicroVest actually knows are under 13 years of age.

C.         Public Forums

This Privacy Policy does not protect you when you use public forums.  You should be aware that any information shared in a posting or online discussion is public information and may be seen, disclosed to or collected by third parties that do not adhere to our Privacy Policy. You should think carefully before disclosing any Personal Information in any public forum.

D.         Emails to Us

This Privacy Policy does not protect you when you send information, ideas, concepts or inventions to us by email to the various departments listed on the "Contact Us" link on our Website. 

Disclosure Of Your Information

Except as set forth in this Privacy Policy or as specifically agreed to by you, we will not disclose any Personal Information gathered from you on our Website.  We may release Personal Information to third parties: (1) to comply with valid legal requirements such as a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order; or (2) in special cases, such as a physical threat to you or others.

A.         Disclosure to Operations and Maintenance Contractors

Our operations and maintenance contractors sometimes have limited access to your Personal Information in the course of providing products or services to us.  These contractors include vendors and suppliers that provide us with technology, services, and/or content related to better operation and maintenance of our Website.  These contractors also may have access to your email address to send newsletters or special promotions to you on our behalf or to send emails to you for purposes such as conducting market research on our behalf.  Access to your Personal Information by these contractors is limited to the information reasonably necessary in order for the contractor to perform its limited function for us.

Certain content and services offered to you through our Website are served on Websites hosted and operated by a company other than MicroVest ("Third Party Contractor Websites"). MicroVest does not disclose your Personal Information to these Third Party Contractor Websites without your consent, but you should be aware that any information you disclose once you access these other sites is not subject to this Privacy Policy.  MicroVest does not endorse and is not responsible for the privacy practices of these Third Party Contractor Websites.  You should review the privacy policy posted on the other site to understand how that Third Party Contractor Website collects and uses your Personal Information.  MicroVest makes an effort to make it obvious to you when you leave our Website and enter a Third Party Contractor Website, either by requiring you to click on a link or by notifying you on the site.

C.         Disclosure of Aggregate Information

We may provide to third parties non-personal information about you that does not allow you to be identified or contacted and that is combined with the non-personal information of other users.  For example, we might inform third parties regarding the number of users of our Website and the activities they conduct while on our Website.  Depending on the circumstances, we may or may not charge third parties for this Aggregate Information.

General Matters

You should be aware that it is not technologically possible to remove each and every record of the information you have provided to us from our servers.  The need to back-up our systems to protect information from inadvertent loss means that a copy of your Personal Information may exist in a non-erasable form that will be difficult or impossible for us to locate.  Nevertheless, we promise that upon receiving your request, all Personal Information stored in the databases we actively use for research and daily business activities, and other readily searchable media, will be deleted.

This Website and the servers that make this Website available are located in the United States.  By using this Website you agree to the transfer, collection, processing and use of data by this Website as outlined in this Privacy Policy. 

Please note that the terms of this Privacy Policy do not and will not apply in the event of MicroVest’s bankruptcy, dissolution, sale, merger or other similar corporate event.
