MicroVest is an investment firm that raises and manages debt and equity capital for private, social impact investment funds, invests that capital in low-income finance institutions worldwide within a commercial framework, and provides risk-adjusted financial returns and social impact to the fund investors.  MicroVest is a growing company with $140 million in committed capital through the five investment funds it manages.  It is the first US-based microfinance asset manager and is an SEC-registered Investment Advisor.  MicroVest was founded by CARE, MEDA and the Seed Capital Development Fund - three non-profit organizations with longstanding credibility in the low-income finance industry.

Internship Program

MicroVest accepts applications for internships from highly qualified undergraduate and graduate students with an interest or professional experience in microfinance and a strong educational background in Finance, Business, Economics or International Development.  Job responsibilities may range from financial analysis, portfolio management, country research, business development research, execution of investments and administration.  Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.  To be considered for an internship, please follow the instructions below.

Volunteer Opportunities
